The OR-TEC AutoSLUDGE is a fully enclosed automated sludge dewatering system.
Its design is unique, patented and proven.
Flocculated sludge is first introduced into a pre-thickening zone for initial
gravity dewatering. This is followed by a mechanical dewatering zone where pressure
on the sludge is slowly increased. Filtrate is forced out of the sludge through
a stainless steel filter whose orifices decrease in size as the pressure on the
sludge increases. The result is a high solids, dry sludge cake and excellent
quality filtrate.
The AutoSLUDGE is constructed of Stainless Steel AISI 304 or AISI 316
